BMI is a high-quality youth leadership academy designed for Black and other underrepresented males across Arkansas who will enter grades 9 through 12 during the year of their participation. The academy begins with an in-person kickoff (2-3 days), followed by regular virtually meetings and mentoring. With males of color facing a wide range of societal disparities, our academy offers much needed development to help bridge this gap in Arkansas.

Who can participate?

BMI is designed with Black and other underrepresented males in mind; however, the academy is open for all youth males to apply.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer a quality, no cost leadership academy, which will be crucial in supporting a pipeline of qualified men of color to compete for post-secondary opportunities in society.
